Morwell East WFC

Morwell East women's team debuted in the South East Development Division of the South Eastern Women's Football competition in 2017. It was not the most auspicious of starts, however, as the side lost all 14 home and away matches contested and ended up collecting the wooden spoon. A year later they were one of half a dozen founder members of the AFL Gippsland Football League Women's competition in which they endured another disappointing campaign with their only points coming from a win on forfeit.
